Fanlocks skull caps and headbands are one size fits most adults.

Yes. Fanlocks will hold up to the moisture of rain or snow. Hang to AIR DRY. Do not put your Fanlocks dreads in the dryer.

Washing the skullcap or headband portion by hand is not an issue. Use warm water and air dry. DO NOT put Fanlocks dreads in the washer or dryer. Wash by hand and air dry.

Customers have ironed patches on their dreadlocks hat with no problem. They have also recommended cutting the logo off fabric and using two-sided iron on adhesive. You can also simply wear your team hat over the skull cap as well.

Yes. Fanlocks Original Skullcap and Dreads were specifically designed to allow the use of any type of hat or cap over the top of the skull cap. The Fanlocks 2.0 Headband, which has dreadlocks on top of the head as well, may be more difficult to fit a hat over the top.

The Fanlocks Original has locks that extend from the bottom edge only. This allows fans to wear any cap they choose over the skull cap and the dreads to show below the cap. The Fanlocks 2.0 is a style which replicates a Headband. This style has dreads on top of the head as well as the back edge to give the headband appearance as opposed to a skullcap. Fanlocks 2.0 will require a larger hat if you choose to wear this style with a hat.

Fanlocks 2.0 Headband

Because they are packaged tightly with Velcro, we suggest the following:

1. Pull “top” dreads forward as though they would be covering your face.

2. With the cap on your head, lay the dreads over the top of your head towards the back pressing them in place to the Velcro on the edges of the cap.

3. Using one lock near each ear, you can join the two locks together in the back of your head with a rubber band or tying them. This can keep the dreads out of your face and in place if you choose to.
